Q. How long does it take for my wedding gown to arrive in?
A. All our gowns are ordered individually. The manufacturers recommend 16 weeks (4 months) delivery. We recommend that you order your gown at least 24 weeks (6 months) prior to your wedding. 4 months for gown to arrive in and two months for any alterations that need to be carried out.
Q. How long does it take for my bridesmaid gowns to arrive in?
A. All our gowns are again individually ordered from the manufacturers. These can take from 1 week (children's gowns) to 16 weeks (adult gowns). We recommend that you order your adult bridesmaids at least 4 - 5 months prior to your wedding date. Children's gowns to be ordered 1 month to 5 months, pending on which gowns you choose.
Q. Can my gowns be altered?
A. We have three extremely experienced seamstresses who will complete all your alteration requirements. Prices will vary, please ask for details.
These alterations are carried out two months prior to your wedding.
Q. What style of gown will suit me?
A. Some shops tell you you look great in everything you try on. We are totally 100% honest, so if your bum looks big in a gown, we will tell you.
Q. What bridesmaid gowns do you stock and do you stock for children?
A. We stock dresses for 6 months old right the way upto a size 30. We hold gowns from Impression, Dessy (most of these come in over 50 different colours) and Henry Kaye.
Q. How much do I have to pay when I want to order my gown?
A. 50% deposit is required when you are ordering your gown.
After that your gown can be paid off in monthly/weekly installments or one lump sum. All gowns are to be paid for within 14 days of your gown arriving in the store.
We accept most major credit/debit cards, cheques and cash. We can also receive payments over the phone.
Q. Do you give discount on anything?
A. If you purchase your wedding gown through us, we will give you 10% off all your bridesmaid dresses.
If you purchase over 5 suits from our Men's Formal Hire Wear, we will give you one suit free in return.
Q. Do you offer a shoe dying service?
A. We stock Rainbow shoes who dye their shoes to match any colour you wish. All you are required to give us is a 2 inch swatch of material and Rainbow will do the rest.
Prices start from £15. 48 hours service is available.
Shoes prices start at £50.
Q. Do I require an appointment to view the gowns?
A. It is best that you book an appointment well in advance, we do get extremely busy. You can still pop in and see if we are free or even just to browse around.
